1.14.1 Functions
The math functions in ‘gnuplot‘ are the same as the corresponding functions in the Unix math library, except that all functions accept integer, real, and complex arguments unless otherwise noted. Functions that accept or return angles (e.g. sin(x), cos(x), arg(z)) treat angle values as radians, but this may be changed to degrees using the command angles.
