NAME
amsmailtool -- Mac OS X Server mail migration tool.
SYNOPSIS
amsmailtool [-source <path>] [-destination <path>] amsmailtool [-migrate.10.1] [-source <path>] [-destination <path>] amsmailtool [-migrate.10.2] [-source <path>] [-destination <path>]
DESCRIPTION
The amsmailtool is used to migrate existing Apple Mail Services (AMS) 10.1 & 10.2 Mail Databases to the current Cyrus mail data format. By default, amsmailtool will scan the default AMS mail database location, /Library/AppleMailServer/ first for a 10.2 mail database and then for a 10.1 amd then migrate mail to the defalut destintion /var/spool/imap/ for the first database it finds. The tool will match user's short names from the existing database and match them to the current directory to create new user mail accounts.
OPTIONS
The following options are available: -source Use this option to specify an alternate source location for the AMS mail database. -destination Use this option to specify an alternate destination location for migrated mail. -migrate.10.1 Specify to migrate form a 10.1 AMS mail database only -migrate.10.2 Specify to migrate form a 10.2 AMS mail database only
