14.7.3 Put the PO Template File under Version Control or not?

   The PO template file (‘.pot’ file) is a generated file.  It should be
treated like other generated files, as discussed in the previous section
(*note Files under Version Control::).

   For instance, if a package uses the third approach, the ‘.pot’ file
will *not* be put under version control.
